What Is Hockey Homework?
The next system is one you are already familiar with, my Hockey Homework system.
You will be assigned weekly homework in the form of playbook lessons to complete before each on-ice session. This will ensure we all hit the ice with a fundamental understanding of what we will be working on. That way we can devote more ice time to actual competition and repetition.
You will also be assigned 1 hour of NHL game film to watch each week to get additional “mental reps” on targeted reads.
Additionally, just watching the game at a high level can introduce you to tactics and skills you want to implement in your own game. It will also help you to read the game better and understand how high-level players play.

Where to Find NHL Games
If you aren’t able to catch a game live or don’t have the ability to record games, here are a couple alternatives (free and paid):

I frequently use this site to download NHL game film. They don’t have every game, but there is plenty to choose from.
Paid Option - https://plus.espn.com/nhl
This is the best option for watching NHL games if you dont mind paying $12 / month. You can go back and re-watch recent games, or catch many out-of-market games live.
