4.2.2 - Protect the Puck - Shuffle (Knee)
1. Shuffle
Use a shuffle or outside edge roll technique to stick your knee out in front of the puck. Lead with your knee in front of the puck. Aim to hit your opponent’s stick with your shin.
2. Pull the Puck
Use a pull or curl to move the puck out wide away from your opponent’s stick.
3. Double-Touch
Underhandle the puck. Double-touch on the forehand or backhand with little taps instead of trying to stickhandle. You have the option to go to one hand for added protection & range.
